Sheila Louise (Garner) Noland, age 79, formerly of Iron Street, Bloomsburg died on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at The Gardens At Orangeville where she was a patient.
Born on January 13,1945 in Galveston, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Ernest W. and Norma (Rae) Garner. She lived in Texas, Mississippi, Florida, California and finally making her home in Bloomsburg in 1992.
Sheila was always a giver to people. She loved to give home made gifts to people she would meet and enjoyed their visits. She always had a smile on her face. She took care of people all of her life and volunteered at the Bloomsburg Hospital and also with the Veterans Auxiliary.
Sheila was a seamstress, loved to bake and cook, did embroidery work of all kinds, and especially loved making baby blankets for newborns.
Sheila is survived by her brother, Robert “Butch” Garner and his wife Nadine, brother in law Henry DeVries and several nieces and nephews, all in Texas. She has a half- sister and half- brother, Charlotte Timm and Danny Garner, both of Indiana.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Judy Jo DeVries and a brother Randy Garner.
She is also survived by two very special friends from the Bloomsburg area, Carl and Cindy Womer and their family and Mike and Mary Ann Marino and their family. She also has special friends at Anthony Court where she lived for many years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at 10 a. m. in St. Columba Catholic Church, 342 Iron Street, Bloomsburg by her pastor, Rev. Richard J. Mowery. Interment will follow in Old Rosemont Cemetery, Bloomsburg.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
