Sherian K. (Henninger) Tyson-Angeli, age 80, of West Sixth Street, Bloomsburg, passed away in a motor vehicle accident on Monday, November 27, 2023.
Born in Bloomsburg on September 20, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Wayne Henninger and Jessie (Bason) Edmonson. She was a lifelong resident of Bloomsburg and a 1961 graduate of Bloomsburg High School.
Sherian was employed in several jobs over the years, including Scott’s Flowers of Danville, Bloomsburg Women’s Center, Milco, Industries, and Comfort Keepers.
She was an exceptional artist, loved to play Bunco with her friends, spending time with her children and their families and especially traveling and going on cruises. She was a member of the Red Hat Society.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Don K. Tyson on January 4, 1979 and Glenn E. Angeli, Sr., on June 4, 2003, a daughter in law, Rhonda Tyson, a granddaughter, Britney Tyson and a sister Randon Salvoski.
Sherian is survived by six children: Donna J., wife of Larry Kline, Bloomsburg, Kenneth J. Tyson and his wife Connie of Lewisburg, Tenn., Charles L. Tyson and his wife Rose of Bloomsburg, Kimber W. Tyson and his wife Lyndee of Bloomsburg, Gregory S. Tyson and his wife Lauri of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Matthew W. Tyson of Smyrna, Delaware; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are four step-children, Glenn E. Angeli, Jr., and his wife Theresa of Dayton, Ohio, Deborah Angeli, JoAnn Lowe, Tina Marie Anderson and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, a niece, Brenda, wife of Randall Taylor of Coal Township and her companion of eight years, Frank Schrader. Her dog Ginger was a special part of her life.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 4, 2023, at 11 a. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bloomsburg, with Rev. Gordon E. Smith, pastor of St. John Lutheran Church, Espy, officiating. Interment will follow St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Numidia. Viewing on Monday from 9-11 a. m.
