Shirley E. (Boyer) Robinson

Shirley E. (Boyer) Robinson, age 87. Of Oak Grove Rd., Danville, died early Sunday, Dec. 8, 2024 at Grandview Nursing & Rehabilitation in Danville.

Born in Bloomsburg on Jan.2,1937, she was a daughter of the late Lester and Hazel (Giger) Boyer. She was a 1955 graduate of Danville High School.

Shirley was employed as a secretary by the former Danville Manufacturing Co. and also at a school in the Central Islip School District in Islip New York.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Milton.

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was her husband of 67 years, W. David Robinson, Jr., on Oct. 12, 2024, and two brothers: Gene Boyer and Clyde Boyer.

Shirley is survived by her son, Greg David Robinson and his wife Teresa of Danville, a granddaughter, Katherine Elizabeth Robinson of Phoenix, Arizona, a brother, Leon Boyer of Danville and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Dec. 13, 2024, at 2 p. m. in the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1133 Bloom Rd., Danville, with her pastor, Rev. Gary Schaeffer officiating. Interment will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Danville. Friends may call on Friday from 1-2 p. m.
