Stella E. Campbell, age 101 formerly of 244 East 10th St., Bloomsburg died at 7:55 P.M. Saturday Feb. 18, 2012 at the Bloomsburg Health Care Center where she has been a resident for over 3 years.
Born in Montour Twp., Columbia Co. on October 19, 1910, she was the daughter of the late William and Alvaretta (Girton) Hunt.
Stella was a lifelong resident of Bloomsburg and was employed at Bloomsburg Mills, Inc. for 44 years, retiring in 1972.
She was preceded in death by her husband Henry B. Campbell on August 15, 2002, by a brother, Charles W. Hunt, and by four sisters; Ethel Cox, Grace Ikeler, Mamie Newhard and L. Mae Hunt. She was the last member of her immediate family; surviving are several nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 P.M. in the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg with the Rev. Allen F. Acor, officiating. Interment will be in New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy. Friends may call Thursday 1:00-2:00 P.M.
