Stella A. Hosler

Stella A. (Peters) Hosler, age 86, 454 S. River Street, Wapwallopen, died at 3:15 a. m. Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at the Berwick Retirement Village II where she was a guest since August 31, 2017.

Born in Berwick on May 29, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Herman and Nellie (Taylor) Peters.  She resided in Wapwallopen since 1966.

Stella was last employed by Akers Manufacturing in Berwick and previously worked for the former M & Dress Factory, Berwick.

She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, but her real joy was  baby sitting her grandson Zane.

Stella was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Hosler on July 11, 1964; by a sister, Kathryn Knorr and a brother, Roy Peters.

Surviving is a daughter, Freddiann, wife of John Edwards, Mifflinville; a grandson,  Zane Edwards, and his companion, Angela Celeste, Bloomsburg; a great-grandson, Carvin Edwards; and a sister,. Vernie Wolfe, with whom she resided in Wapwallopen.

At  the  request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or funeral services.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
