Stephen M. Wilson, age 56, 1810 Old Berwick Road, (Espy), Bloomsburg, died at 5:35 p. m. Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at his home after after a lengthy illness.
Born at the Bloomsburg Hospital on April 6, 1955, he was a son of the late George W. and Esther M. (Laubach) Wilson. He resided in Espy for 13 ½ years and previously lived in Benton. He attended the Benton Area High School. Steve was employed for a number of years at the former Robertâs Woodworking plant in Stillwater.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Richard W. Wilson and Joseph A. Wilson and a sister, Christine Mae Wilson.
Steve is survived by a brother, Alfred S. Wilson, and his wife Josephine, Stillwater; and two sisters: Zella M., wife of Fred Cleaver, Orangeville and Mary Alice Ziemons, Macungie. There are also several nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family, followed by interment in New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy. There will be no calling hours.
The family will provide flowers. Memorials may be sent to the American Lung Assn., 71 N. Franklin St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701.
