Susan M. Frey

Susan M. Frey, age 59, 713 Zaners-Rohrsburg Road, Orangeville, died at 6:05 p.m. Friday, June 12, 2009 at the Orangeville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Orangeville, where she was a patient for 35 days. She was in failing health for two years.

Born in Berwick on April 18, 1950, she was a daughter of the late Robert E., Sr., and Margaret M. (Boyer) Bower. She resided in Rohrsburg for the past 33 years.

Susan was a 1968 graduate of Bloomsburg High School.

She was employed by Berwick Offray for about 10 years, last working in 2006.

Susan was a member of the Rohrsburg United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank D. Frey, Sr., on August 30, 2006 and by a granddaughter, Kala Marie Green.

Surviving are three daughters: April A., wife of John E. Green, Millville; Cindy L. Robbins, Troy; Brenda S., wife of Donnie Graves, Bloomsburg (Espy); a son, Frank D. Frey, Jr., and his wife Amy M., Turbotville; 10 grandchildren; a sister, Sandra K. Carpenter, Danville; and two brothers: Barry L. Bower, Shamokin and Robert E. Bower, Jr., and his wife Patricia, Berwick.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc. Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg, with her pastor, Rev. Darwin C. Goshorn, officiating. Interment in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge.
