Susan K. (Glasser) Guthrie

Susan K. (Glasser) Guthrie, age 66, of Mountain Road, Berwick died Saturday, August 5, 2023.

Born in Bloomsburg on July 27, 1957, she was a daughter of the late Dennis and Jane (Coleman) Glasser. She was a 1975 graduate of Bloomsburg High School.

Susan resided in Berwick for the past six years and previously lived in Bloomsburg. She was employed by Bloomsburg University in the housekeeping department for the past 18 years.

She was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ in Paxinos.

Susan enjoyed going to yard sales, reading, assembling jigsaw puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren and her son’s dogs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Dale Glasser.

Susan is survived by her husband, Robert Guthrie, with whom she would have observed their seventh wedding anniversary on August 17^th; a daughter, Stephanie, wife of Richard Carl of Bloomsburg, a son, Nathan Roeder of Catawissa; two grandchildren: Abigail and Owen; three siblings: Phillip Glasser and his wife Shirley of Muncy, Deborah wife of David Hugick of Williamsport, Gary Glasser of Maine and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg, with her pastor, Rev. Paul T. Gurba, officiating. Viewing from 9-11 a. m.
