Suzanne M. Howell, age 57, 219 Dutch Hill Road, Bloomsburg, died early Saturday, December 19, 2015 at the Emmanuel Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation, Danville, where she was a patient for 12 days.
Born at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, on November 8, 1958, she was the daughter of Arlene (Steinhart) Howell, Bloomsburg, and the late Donald R. Howell.
Suzanne was a 1976 graduate of Bloomsburg High School and a 1980 graduate of Millersville University, Millersville.
Earlier in her life she was employed as a bank teller.
Susanne was a lifelong member of the Emanuel Dutch Hill Bible Church. She participated in activities at the Milton YMCA and also was a volunteer at the McEwensville Public Library.
Surviving in addition to her mother is a sister, Nancy A., wife of Brian E. Leighow; two brothers: D. Randy Howell, and his wife Tina and Christopher R. Howell, and his wife Tina, all of Bloomsburg, and several nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services will be held in the Emanuel Dutch Hill Bible Church with her pastor, Rev. George A. Zerbe officiating. Interment in the Church cemetery. The family will provide flowers. Friends may send memorial contributions to either the American Cancer Society, 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701 or to the Geisinger Columbia Montour Hospice, 410 Glenn Ave., Bloomsburg, PA 17815
