Terry L. Bennett

Terry L. Bennett, age 67, of Jerseytown Road, Bloomsburg, died at his home early Saturday morning May 27, 2023 after an illness.

Born in Union County, North Carolina on December 22, 1955, the son of the late Hervey C. and Betty (Reigle) Bennett.

Terry owned and operated his own business at his home, Bennett Car Care, detailing cars.

He enjoyed working on cars and riding his motorcycle and as a former trucker, he made many cross-country trips, which he enjoyed. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends.

Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were his wife, the former Pearl Milbroadt, on July 25, 2022, two brothers: Robert Bennett and Larry C. Bennett, and a sister, Carol Paige Kashner.

He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Benner; granddaughter, Kateara Benner; grandson, Jaiden Sponburgh, all of Millville. He was the last of his immediate family and is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 9, 2023 at 11 a.m. in Jerseytown Cemetery. Elder Robert Hock, of the Christian Gospel Fellowship Church in Iola, officiating.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
