Terry R. Crone, age 69, of 340 Buckhorn Road, Bloomsburg, died at his home and was pronounced death on Friday afternoon, July 30, 2021, of natural causes.
Born in Bloomsburg on October 28, 1951, he was a son of the late Robert L. and Margaret E. (Shoemaker) Crone. He was a life long resident of the Bloomsburg area and a 1971 graduate of the Columbia-Montour Vocational Technical School where he studied in the automotive program.
Terry was last employed by Friedman Electric Co., where he worked for 10 years before retiring in 2019. Earlier he was employed by the former Claster’s Lumber Yard as a delivery person for 25 years.
He enjoyed attending tractor pulls, hunting, woodworking and spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed the time he spent with his extended family at the Buckhorn Truck Stop.
Terry served his country as a member of the U. S. Army following high school.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Margaret Eckroth and a nephew Michael Crone.
Surviving are five siblings: Jeffrey A. Crone, and his wife Audrey, Bloomsburg; Christine L., wife of Gene Phares, Millville; Joseph Crone, and his wife Mariann, Bloomsburg; Kimberly, wife of David Fisher, Bloomsburg; Tracy, wife of Henry Kishbaugh, Bloomsburg. Also surviving is a brother-in-law, Rolland Eckroth and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg, with the Rev. Gordon E. Smith, pastor of St. John Lutheran Church, Espy, officiating. Friends may call from 1-2 p. m.
