Terry L. Tittle, age 64, 20 W. Market Street, Apt. 2, Danville, died at 5:30 a.m. Monday, April 28, 2014 at his home after a lengthy illness.
Born in Boston, Mass. On September 21, 1949, he was the son of the late Clyde and Betty (Golder) Tittle. A 1967 graduate of Danville High School, he had resided there for over 40 years.
Terry was employed in the maintenance department of Weis Markets, Inc, Danville for ten years, retiring about 2007; and formerly worked for Orelli Supply, Bloomsburg.
He was a member of the former St. Johnâs United Church of Christ, Mausdale. Terry had an interest in watches, of which he owned several. He also liked to fish and watch Nascar racing , and he loved to be out west.
Terry served with the U.S. Navy, and spent three years on the USS Forrestal during the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by a son, Joshua Tittle.
Surviving are two children: Ryan E. Tittle, Newville and Jessica L. Tittle, Dillsburg; three grandchildren: Kiara Serradella, Ryan E. Tittle, Jr. and Joshua Tittle; two sisters: Cynthia L. VanSickle and Tamera, wife of Peter Auten, all of Danville; two nephews: Marc VanSickle and Jason VanSickle; two nieces: Kayla, wife of Shane Shepperson and Abigail, wife of Ryan McManus; a great niece, Blaykslee VanSickle, a great nephew, Declan McManus; and his friends and caregivers, Charles A., Jr. and Doreen A. Stinger, Danville.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no services.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1715 Bloom Road, Danville.
