Thelma M. Campbell, age 90, 1545 Old Berwick Road, Bloomsburg, died at her home at 12:03 a. m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011 after being in failing health for the past year.

Born in Shickshinny on March 21, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Corina Moyer. She resided in Bloomsburg before moving to Paxinos where she resided during the 1960's and 1970s's, returning to Bloomsburg over 20 years ago.

Thelma was employed as a certified aide at the Latsha Group Home Day Care Center, Bloomsburg for 20 years and worked at Clark's Poultry, Paxinos when she resided there.

A member of St. John's Community Church, Catawissa, she was a life member of the Espy Fire Company, Ladies Auxiliary and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Valley of Bloomsburg Post 273, American Legion. She also was a  member of the Daughters of America, Forty & Eight Club, Sunbury, Red Hat Society and served on the Bloomsburg Election Board for many years.

She was preceded in death by two husbands: Delbert Holdren on June 1, 1955 and William Campbell; a daughter, Dolores Spaid in Nov., 1991;  three sisters: Joy Hartzgrove, Marian Baker, Kathryn Holdren; and an brother who died as a young boy.

Surviving are a son, James Holdren, Sr., and his wife Patricia, Coal Township; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was the last of her immediate family and is additionally survived by a special granddaughter and her caregiver for the past 15 years, Denise Latsha, with whom she last resided.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg, with her pastor, Charles R. Swank officiating. Interment in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a. m.
