THERESA M. KUNOWSKI

Theresa M. Kunowski, age 80 Crestwood Drive, Bloomsburg, died at 11:47 a. m. Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at the Emmanuel Nursing Center, Danville, where she was a patient for two days.

Born on January 30, 1929 in Shenandoah, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Michaelene (Walczak) Pavlosky. She resided in Bloomsburg since 1951 and at her Crestwood Drive home since 1962.

Theresa was a 1946 graduate of J. W. Cooper High School, Shenandoah.

She was a member of St. Columba Catholic Church and the former Catholic Daughter's group at the Church. She was an active volunteer for the Bloomsburg Hospital, Maria Joseph Manor, Danville and at her Church.

Theresa was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph S. Kunowski on August 14, 2001; by two brothers and a sister.

Surviving are a son, Paul J. Kunowski, Bradford Woods; a daughter, Kathleen, wife of Robert Quaranta, North Brunswick, N.J.; by twin granddaughters: Caitlyn and Nicole Quaranata; and two sisters: Victoria Doncheski, South Plainfield, N. J. and Helen Wozniewicz, Shenandoah.

A Mass of Christian will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 a. m. in St. Columba Catholic Church, 342 Iron St., Bloomsburg, with her pastor, Rev. Paul R. Fisher officiating. Interment in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg.

Friends may call on Saturday from 8:30 to 9;30 a. m. at the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
