Vicki L. Runge

Vicki L. (Harner) Runge, age 57, 128 Ringtown Mountain Road, Catawissa (Numidia), died at 11:33 a. m. Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at the Geisinger Medical Center Danville, where was a patient for four days. Her death followed a lengthy battle with cancer.

Born in Bloomsburg on August 16, 1960, she was a daughter of  Diane (Brassington) Harner, Catawissa, and the late Richard “Pete“ Harner.. She spent her lifetime in the Numidia/Catawissa area and she was a 1978 graduate of Southern Area High School.

Vicki was last employed by Bernardi Italian Foods, Bloomsburg, last working in 2002

She was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Ft. McClure Post 804, VFW, Bloomsburg. Her favorite activity in life was spoiling her granddaughter.

Surviving in addition to her mother, is her  husband of 36 years, David S. Runge; a son, David R. Runge, and his wife Erin; a daughter, Alexa, wife of Walt Leck; a granddaughter, Kylie Leck, all of Catawissa; a sister, Penny, wife of Tony Styer, Catawissa; and a brother, Tim Harner, Milton.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2 p. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.  Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge. Friends may call on Monday from 12 noon until the time of the service.
