Victor M. Frey, Jr., age 58, 127 Country Road, Danville, passed away at his home at 2:50 a.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2016, after a courageous fight with pancreatic cancer. He was ill for seven months.
Born in Allentown on July 2, 1957, he was the son of Dorothy (Nothstein) Frey, Allentown and the late Victor M. Frey, Sr. He was a 1975 graduate of Parkland High School, Allentown and a 1979 graduate of Delaware Valley College, Doylestown.
Victor resided in the Danville area since 1980 and was employed as the general manager of Kurt Weiss Greenhouses, Washingtonville, since then.
His hobby was gardening, growing flowers and landscaping.
Surviving Victor in addition to his mother, is his wife Sharon (DeRemer) Burcicki Frey, with whom he would have celebrated his 7th wedding anniversary on July 25, 2016; three daughters: Allyson Frey; Janelle Burcicki; Alicia Burcicki, all of Danville; a brother, Dale Frey, and his wife Barbara, Peach Tree City, Ga.; a sister, Elizabeth, wife of Bruce Calhoun, Ames, Iowa; a niece, Emily, wife of Thomas Keen, Tyrone, Ga.; and a nephew, Daniel Frey, Peach Tree City, Ga.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1715 Bloom Road, Danville, with the Rev. Trevor J. Hahn, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. Interment in Straub’s Cemetery, Frosty Valley. Friends may call on Friday from 5-7 p.m. or Saturday from 10-11 a.m.
