VIRGINIA A. SWAYZE
Virginia A. Swayze, age 94, 912 Race Street (P. O. Box 270), Mifflinville, died at 11:30 a. m. Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at the home of her daughter, Joan A. Troy where she resided. She was in failing health for the past two years.
Born in Trenton, N.J. on June 30, 1917, she was the daughter of the late William M. and Ethel (Beardsley) Muschert. She resided in Mifflinville for the past two years and prior to that in Hanover for six years. Earlier she resided in Toms River, N.J. and for many years in Trenton, N.J.
She was employed as a unit secretary by the Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood, N.J. for 26 years, retiring in 1989.
Virginia was a member of the Trinity Cathedral (Episcopal), Trenton and locally attended the Shiloh Bible Church, Almedia.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, , Frank W. Swayze, Jr., in 1980; by a grandson, Dale O. Dolly, Jr.; and by two brothers: William Muschert and Arthur Muschert.
Surviving are three daughters, twins: Lynn M., wife of Dale O. Dolly, Fairfield; Joan A., widow of James D. Troy, with whom she resided in Mifflinville; Carol V., wife of Henry Fell, Forked River, N.J.; a son, Frank W. Swayze, III, Hanover; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Carol Gatto, Midlothian, Va.
Rerquiem Eucharist will be celebrated in Trinity Cathedral, 801 W. State St., Trenton, N. J. on Friday at 1 p. m. Interment in Ewing Church Cemetery, Ewing, N.J. At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing.
