Willard A. Dietz, age 80, of Danville, died at 12:20 a.m. Sunday, May 26, 2013 at his home.
Born in Danville on November 27, 1932, he was a son of the late Willard G. and Helen M. (Albeck) Dietz. A 1953 graduate of Danville High School, he spent his whole life in the area.
He was owner and operator of Dietz Radio and TV store.
Willard was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and served during the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald G. Dietz on March 10, 1974.
Surviving is his wife, the former Mary Evelyn Enterline, with whom he would have celebrated 60 years of marriage on November 10, 2013; children: Christene M. Sato, wife of Charles McGinty, Spotsylvania, VA; Willard L. Dietz, wife Tina, Blue Ridge, VA; Daniel Lee Dietz, wife Carol, Damascus, MD; Diane D., wife of Edward Clemens, Mohnton and Dennis Jon Dietz, Afton, N.C.; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Services were held privately and were entrusted to the care of Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1715 Bloom Road, Danville.
