William J. Glenney

William J. Glenney, age 74, of 7 W. Hillcrest Drive, Bloomsburg died at his home in Sunday morning, December 4, 2022.

Born in Mifflintown on August 11, 1948, he was a son of the late Robert and Clara (Taylor) Glenney. He resided on Bloomsburg since 1997 and previously lived in McVeytown, Mifflin County.

Bill was a graduate of Rothrock High School in Lewistown and later from the former Bloomsburg State Teachers College. He received his M. S. degree from Temple University in Philadelphia.

He taught parenting classes at SCI Schuylkill in Minersville and also at Allenwood Federal Prison. He also did private counseling.

Bill was of the Presbyterian faith. He was a skilled carpenter. In his earlier years he was a Cub Scout leader. For 15 years he was an Emergency Medical Technician while living in Lewistown.

Surviving is his wife the former Deborah L. Seiter, with whom he observed their 20^th wedding anniversary on June 22, 2022, three sons: Jason Glenney, Wellsboro,  Greg Page, Washington, DC and Brian Page, Harrisburg; three grandchildren: Draven, Jillian and Pyper; two brothers: Robert Glenney and his wife Debbie, David Glenney and his wife Debbie and a sister, Sara Jane, wife of Darrell Sunerland, all of Lewistown.

Memorial services will be held in McVeytown at a later date for his family and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
