WILLIAM R. JONES
William R. Jones, age 68, 105 E. Main St., Millville, died at his home at 8:10 a.m. Friday, June 17, 2011. He had been in failing health for two years.
Born in Nanticoke on April 13, 1943, he was the son of the late Edgar and Ida (Creglow) Jones. He had resided in Millville for thirteen years, and previously in the Bloomsburg area.
He was last employed as a salesman by U.S. Supply Company, Bloomsburg, where he worked for seven years.
Bill was an avid golfer, and his favorite sports teams were the Philadelphia Phillies baseball team and the Philadelphia Eagles football team.
Surviving is a daughter, Tracy Boone, Bloomsburg; and his long-time companion, Louise Bartholomew, with whom he resided.
At the request of the deceased there will be no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
