William C.”Bill” Laubach Jr, a lifelong resident of Bloomsburg,PA passed away peacefully on March 25,2025, at the age of 90 with his loving daughters and grandson by his side.

Born in W. Pittston on May 25, 1934 to William and Hazel Montague Laubach. William was a man of quiet dignity, grounded in the values of family, faith and service. Throughout his life, William was known for his steadfast commitment to his loved ones and his enduring dedication to his country.

Serving honorably as a Gunners Mate Third Class (GM3) in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict (1952-1956) were he exemplified courage and patriotism while serving on the USS Mississippi and the USS Cross. He carried these qualities into his civilian life, where they became the cornerstone of his character.

William’s most cherished personal achievement was his marriage to Donna J. (Ikeler) Laubach, a union that lasted an incredible 61 years. Together, they built a life filled with shared experiences, mutual support and unwavering love.

In his spare time he thoroughly enjoyed collecting Lionel trains, a hobby which Bill would display for his family during Christmas festivities. His whole world was his family. His girls. Phyllis, Roxanne and Heather. As well as his grandson, Michael Logan.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife Donna J. Laubach. His sister, Kay Slusser and a brother,John Laubach.

Surviving are his daughters, Phyllis Klinetob,Roxanne Hollingsworth, Heather Huber, wife of Louis “ Corky” Huber. As well as his grandson Michael Logan Klinetob.

Graveside services at Ikeler Cemetery, Mount Pleasant Township will be private.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
