WILLIAM M. TRUDNAK, JR.
William M. Trudnak, Jr., age 74, 922 Ext. E. Eighth Street, Bloomsburg, died unexpectedly on Sunday afternoon, Feb. 12, 2012 at the home of his companion, Pearl Stump in Danville.
Born in Shickshinny on June 6, 1937, he was a son of the late William M., Sr. and Anna (Tomaszkiewiz) Trudnak. Bill resided in Bloomsburg most of his life and was a 1955 graduate of Bloomsburg High School.
Bill was a self employed electrician, doing business as William Trudnak Electric.
Recently he has been attending Trinity United Methodist Church, Danville.
Bill was a member of the Bloomsburg Fire Dept.; a life member of the Bloomsburg Fireman's Relief Association; Columbia Valley Moose Lodge 623; Continental Fire Co. No. 5, Danville; and the Washingtonville Fire Co.
He was a social member of Valley of Bloomsburg Post 273, American Legion and American Legion Post 35, Hughesville.
Bill enjoyed dancing and he and Pearl spent their evenings dancing at various clubs with their friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Fannie E. Kile, on Nov. 23, 2009 and by two brothers: Stephen Trudnak and Edward S. Trudnak.
Surviving in addition to his companion, are two step- sons: Edward Bressler, and his wife Terry, Denver and John Bressler, and his wife Dawn, Bloomsburg; three step- granddaughters; a brother, Raymond Trudnak, and his wife June, and a sister, Joan T. Albertson, both of Bloomsburg. There are also a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held in New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at a time to be announced.
